Ingredients and spices that need to be Make ready to make Dal Makhani:
- 250 gr black gram whole
- 2 table spoon ghee
- 2 table spoon butter
- 1 mid onion
- 2 big tomato,
- 2 table spoon ginger garlic paste
- as per taste Salt,
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 tea spoon garam masala
- 1 tea spoon ,kasuri methi
- 1 black cardamom,
- 4 bay leaves
- 5 - 6 clove
- 4 table spoon cream,
- 1 table spoon coriander leaves
- 1 tea spoon jeera,
- 1 pinch hing
Steps to make to make Dal Makhani
- Wash & soaked lentils over night. In morning before boil,rubed it with hands & again wash proper. So that the black water, & peels removed.
- Add lentils & 4 guna water in cooker. Also add whole spices & cook for 15 min on mid flame. Now for tarka chopped onion.
- Make paste of ginger & garlic. Grind tomato make puree. Take a pan add ghee & butter roast jeera,& hing.
- Now add onion fry it till golden, add ginger garlic paste cook it proper. At last add tomato puree & Chilli powder.
- Fry it proper add some water & cover with lid.when masala leaves oil it ready. Now add dal with water in pan. Again cook on 4 whistle.
- When open it mashed it with ladle & leave on low flame for proper cook. Stir it occasionally. Now add garam masala & kasuri methi.
- At last add cream,& fresh coriander leaves. Keep it aside for some time for more aromatic.
- Serve it with tandoori roti or naan. The best combination yummy meal for ever.
