- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- as required Ghee for frying
- 1/2 cup Badam powder
- 10-15 pc Makhana
Instructions to make to make Dal baati churma
- For making dal
Soak dal for 30 min wash and clean dal - Pressure cook dal with salt and haldi for 2 whistle.
- Heat ghee add jeera hing ginger green chilli paste add tomato and cook for 1 min add red chilli powder
- Add cooked dal add little water if needed garnish with coriander leaves.
- For making baati
mix in all the ingredients and knead a stiff dough rest it for 10 min knead the dough again using little ghee in your hand divide the dough into equal balls - Take appe pan heat pan drizzle little oil put baati balls and cook from all side turning side by side in low flame keep it aside
- For making choorma
In a bowl take add and knead stiff dough and cover it with moist cloth rest it for 10 min - Divide the dough into equal balls
- Heat ghee add choorma balls and fry till golden brown in medium flame drain and keep it aside let it be cool break it into pieces
- Take mixer grinder put the broken pieces and grind to fine powder
- Transfer to big bowl add powdered sugar badam makhana mix well
- Dal baati choorma is ready to serve
