- 1 cup all-purpose flour (maida)
- 3/4 cup moong dal powder
- 1 tsp gram flour
- 1 tsp rice powder
- 1/2 cup yoghurt
- 2 cups sugar to make sugar syrup
- As needed water to make sugar syrup
- 1 cup warm water to make batter
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 10-12 saffron strands
- 2 drops Saffron food colour

- First grind moong dal to a fine powder in a blender
- Sieve and keep aside
- Now take a mixing bowl
- Add all-purpose flour (maida), powdered moong dal, gram flour, and rice flour
- Add yoghurt
- Now add warm water gradually and make a smooth batter with the help of a hand whisk
- Keep aside this batter for a minimum 5 to 6hrs
- After 6hrs, first, make sugar syrup
- Take a pan and add sugar and 1 cup of water
- Start boiling
- Boil till one string syrup(boil for 7 to min)
- Now add food colour in batter and whisk again to get the colour mix properly
- Pour this batter in a plastic ketchup bottle
- Make swirl shape jalebi directly in hot oil
- Deep fry on both the sides till golden and crispy
- Keep on the kitchen towel for half minute
- Then deep in sugar syrup
- After that 5-10min take out jalebi from syrup
- Make all jalebi in batches following the same method
