  2. 5-6 pcs Potato
  3. As needed Water
  4. 3-4 pcs Garlic
  5. 3-4 pcs Green chillies
  6. 1 tsp Garlic paste
  7. 2 tsp Red chilli powder
  8. 2 tsp Cumin powder
  9. 2 tsp Coriander
  10. 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  11. 2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  12. as required Oil

Instructions to make to make Nimona Dal

  1. Firstly, in a wok add 2 tsp of oil and in it add garlic 2-3 pcs and green chillies whole and all the green peas.Saute it for 5 mins.Now transfer this peas into grinder and blend them into a smooth paste without water.
  2. Now in the same wok add, 2 tsp of oil add some fenugreek seeds.Let it crackle now add potatoes.Potatoes should be cut into wedges shape.Saute it for 2-3 min.Then take it out in a plate and keep aside.
  3. Now again in the same wok add the peas paste and saute it properly until it started leaving the utensils bottom and become non-sticky and glazy.
  4. Then after that in another vessel add 4 tbsp of oil,in it add fenugreek seeds and add all the masala's: red chilli powder,cumin powder,coriander powder, turmeric powder and garlic paste.Add 2 tsp of water.Saute the masala's properly until until oil leaves from the sides.
  5. Here after that add the peas and potatoes that was kept aside and Mix them well.
  6. Lastly add water according to the consistency of it. After one boils come in it.Turn the flame low and cook it for 10-15 mins in low flame.
  7. Super delicious Nimona dal is ready to serve hot.It taste yummy with both rice and chappati.
