  14. 1 Tbsp cumin seeds
  15. 1 Tbsp coriander seeds
  16. 1/2 tsp red chilli flakes
  17. 2/3 green chilli chopped (optional)

Instructions to make to make Lahori katlama

  1. In bowl,add all-purpose flour,salt and oil.
    Gradually add water and knead well to form a dough,cover & let it rest for 30 minutes.
  2. In bowl,add gram flour,red chili powder,cumin seeds,coriander seeds,salt,red food color and egg mix well.
    Gradually add water if required and mix well to make a thick paste.
  3. Grease your hands with oil and knead dough again,take a small dough,make a ball and roll out dough with the help of rolling pin make a chapatti as your desired shape.
  4. Spread prepared paste,sprinkle dried seeds and green chilli and mash daal press gently with hand or back of spoon.
    In wok,heat oil and fry katlama until nice and light crispy.
    Serve hot with green raita.
